The Academic Federation of Porto (FAP) represents over 70,000 students and serves as the representative body for the Academic and Student Associations of Porto’s higher education institutions. It advocates for students’ rights and promotes public policies for youth.

Climate Action

At Queima das Fitas do Porto 2025, 85% of waste was recycled. A total of 41 tonnes of waste were collected, 200 kg of organic waste was composted, and 240 kg of used cooking oil was repurposed. Ticketing and payments became fully digital, reducing paper and plastic consumption.
