Mota Engil Renewing is the latest company belonging to the multi-national Mota Engil, a cleantech founded in 2019 with the mission of Speeding up the Energy Transition and Decarbonisation of large urban centres, companies, and industry, joining in this context  the Porto Climate Pact, committing itself as an active agent with the city to promoting this journey towards sustainability and carbon neutrality. 

At Mota Engil Renewing, we develop and explore new business models in the areas of energy, electromobility, and cutting-edge mobility solutions, as well as new ways of inhabiting cities, which allow us to respond to the current challenges we are all facing – changing the paradigm of consumption and economic development to more sustainable models, respecting the scarce, non-renewable resources and the physical limits of the planet. 

With a strong bond with Porto, the Mota Engil group, through its company Mota Engil Renewing, has developed innovative projects in the city that have contributed to the furthering of the energy transition of its urban ecosystem. 

It should be noted that the Mota Engil group has also signed this Pact, having sustainability as the pivot of its development strategy, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its mission of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
