R&B – Ricardo & Barbosa
Founded on April 1, 1978, Ricardo & Barbosa is one of the leading national references in the manufacturing of high-precision tools for the Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, and Oil & Gas industries, currently present in more than twenty-six countries worldwide. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of tools (including hydroforming tools), high-precision machining (+/- 0.003 mm), surface treatments, and subassemblies (turnkey solutions).
We have 60 CNC machines (Milling, Lathes, Surface Grinding, Cylindrical Grinding, and EDM) to produce all types of materials, from single parts to large production batches. We operate two factories (Portugal and Mexico) and have seven distributors to provide technical and local support to our customers.
Climate action
Over the years, R&B, a company in the industrial sector with ISO14001 certification, has been implementing measures aimed at preserving the environment when it comes to product Life Cycle. From energy-sustainable solutions – converting the fleet to electric vehicles, and implementing a photovoltaic park – to influencing its suppliers towards the same vision.
Testimony
We aim to be an example for future generations, leaving an environmental legacy that allows for human coexistence with Nature. Resources are reduced, and we are in a moment of action. With the pact, we are merely reinforcing the pledge and commitment to this cause not by one but by all.
