class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>21\/05\/2025<\/p><p><b>No dia 21 de maio, teve lugar o primeiro de cinco percursos da segunda edi\u00e7\u00e3o da iniciativa que convida os cidad\u00e3os a conhecer projetos e lugares da cidade ligados \u00e0 neutralidade carb\u00f3nica e \u00e0 resili\u00eancia clim\u00e1tica.<\/b><\/p><p>Na abertura, o diretor para a Neutralidade Carb\u00f3nica do Porto, Daniel Freitas, destacou a import\u00e2ncia de &#8220;mostrar \u00e0 cidade as solu\u00e7\u00f5es j\u00e1 implementadas no \u00e2mbito do Pacto do Porto para o Clima e inspirar outras organiza\u00e7\u00f5es a seguirem o mesmo caminho&#8221;.<\/p><p>O respons\u00e1vel refor\u00e7ou, ainda, a urg\u00eancia de &#8220;inverter a rota e reduzir a pegada ecol\u00f3gica&#8221;, sublinhando a ambi\u00e7\u00e3o do Munic\u00edpio em transformar o Porto numa cidade mais verde, resiliente e eficiente.<\/p><p>O ponto de encontro foi o Jardim do Moreda, mas o percurso levou os participantes muito al\u00e9m da superf\u00edcie. A primeira paragem foi a emblem\u00e1tica Arca da Cavaca, na Rua da Firmeza, seguida da Natixis, na Rua de Santos Pousada. Dois locais que refletem, de forma distinta, a import\u00e2ncia da sustentabilidade e da neutralidade carb\u00f3nica, um dos grandes compromissos da cidade at\u00e9 2030.<\/p><p>Guiados at\u00e9 \u00e0 Arca da Cavaca pela \u00c1guas e Energia do Porto, os participantes desceram atrav\u00e9s de uma escadaria subterr\u00e2nea. Constru\u00edda no s\u00e9culo XVIII por frades capuchos para abastecer a zona de S. L\u00e1zaro, permanece ativa e acess\u00edvel.<\/p><p>A arca original, demolida em 1950, foi recuperada simbolicamente e integra hoje o patrim\u00f3nio municipal, testemunho de um legado de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel da \u00e1gua &#8211; uma das maiores riquezas do Porto.<\/p><p>A segunda paragem mostrou como o setor empresarial pode ser um agente na transi\u00e7\u00e3o clim\u00e1tica. A Natixis, banco de investimento franc\u00eas sediado no Porto e com mais de 2.800 colaboradores, destaca-se pelas pol\u00edticas ambientais e pr\u00e1ticas sustent\u00e1veis.<\/p><p>Subscritora do Pacto do Porto para o Clima desde o seu lan\u00e7amento, a empresa destaca-se por medidas como a reciclagem de mobili\u00e1rio, a aposta no com\u00e9rcio local, a elimina\u00e7\u00e3o de descart\u00e1veis, o apoio \u00e0 mobilidade verde e suave e uma horta urbana que, s\u00f3 em 2024, doou 300 quilos dos vegetais produzidos a institui\u00e7\u00f5es locais de solidariedade
