AdEPorto is a private, non-profit association with Public Utility status, operating in 10 municipalities of the Porto Metropolitan Area north of the Douro River. Energy sustainability is AdEPorto’s main focus, as it aspires to establish itself as a leading organization in municipal energy-related matters.

Climate action

To lead by example, AdEPorto aligns its internal activities with its Energy and Environmental Sustainability Plan, which focuses on Energy (with an emphasis on Electricity), Waste, and Mobility. Energy efficiency in facilities, raising awareness among employees and members, and electric mobility are key priorities for AdEPorto.

Testimony

AdEPorto actively supports all initiatives and projects developed within AMP-ND in the pursuit of carbon neutrality in the region. In this regard, the Porto Climate Pact aligns with AdEPorto’s ambition to achieve a carbon-neutral territory where no one is left behind.
