The NEYA Porto Hotel is a 124-room hotel inaugurated in 2020, born from the restoration of part of the ruins of the Convento Madre Deus de Monchique. The rehabilitation of a degraded building and the hotel’s sustainability concept earned it the LEED Gold certification for sustainable construction.
Climate action
In line with its Sustainability concept and LEED Gold certification, NEYA Porto Hotel has implemented various climate action measures, notably solar energy production, the use of green energy, efficient equipment, sectoral consumption management, low-carbon mobility solutions, local purchasing, and the calculation and offsetting of carbon emissions.
