Climate action

The Coliseu do Porto Ageas sees itself in the concerns defended by the Porto Climate Pact and therefore wants to ensure the transition to a set of sustainable and environmentally committed practices. As a symbol of the city, the Coliseu do Porto Ageas can and should convey this message to its employees, customers, and public. As such, it promotes habits related to environmental protection and energy efficiency:

• Individual EcoPoints for waste separation 
• Consumption of filtered tap water and elimination of plastic bottles and cups
• Recycling of paper, packaging, and ink cartridges, in addition to the acquisition and use of recycled materials
• Use of biodegradable detergents
• Replacement of existing light bulbs with low-consumption alternatives
• Placement of motion sensors for lighting in bathrooms and access areas 
• Placement of sensors in the bathrooms to reduce the flow of water in the taps
• Setting up of a bike rack to encourage the use of alternative transport
