Climate action

FAPAS – Portuguese Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity develops, specifically, environmental education campaigns for the general public and teacher training actions in which the problem of climate change is always present. In the field, FAPAS is renaturalising Quinta de Chão de Carvalhos, where it has its headquarters.

Testimony

The climate has always varied throughout the history of life on earth, but never as rapidly as now, in such a way that fauna and flora do not have time to adapt. Species are lost and others, in many cases invasive, appear. That is why it is pivotal to seriously commit to stopping these changes.
