Climate action
CIIMAR’s Responsibility Policy is guided and implemented with a strong commitment to Economic, Social, and Environmental Sustainability, actively contributing—through its research and daily activities—to the implementation and dissemination of values aligned with multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined in the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
The Green Lab CIIMAR aims to reduce the ecological footprint of our research center associated with laboratory activities, such as energy and water consumption and recyclable urban waste production. Other initiatives include promoting sustainable mobility, reducing water and energy consumption, fostering circularity, encouraging waste reduction and increased recycling, and investing in environmental literacy and education.
